Monty Roberts 5 inch snaffle bit with a thin mouthpiece. Black iron mouthpiece with copper inlaid in strips. The copper creates moisture in the horse's mouth for comfort, while the stronger black iron protects the copper from wear. Stainless steel Dee Ring design outside the mouth prevents pinching at the corners. Black iron is softer than stainless steel and gentler on the bars of the mouth. The thinner gauge mouthpiece offers a more precise feel for horses that respond to lighter contact.
